Massac County Busted Mugshots is privately owned and is not affiliated with any government body, sheriff, jail, or corrections department. What This Service Is

This is a private reference site. It does not store official jail rosters, booking records, court files, or agency databases, and it cannot confirm custody, release a person, or file a document for a visitor. It points toward the Massac Sheriff app, police and sheriff FOIA routes, court contacts, IDOC, federal locators, and local reporting.

The descriptions are informational. They do not change a public body’s duties under Illinois FOIA, including the written-request rules in 5 ILCS 140/3, and they do not replace the originating office’s current instructions.

Acceptable Use

Visitors agree to use the pages lawfully and with respect for other people. The following conduct is prohibited:

  • Breaking the law or helping another person break it
  • Using information to stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm someone
  • Making a prohibited decision about another person with the material
  • Trying to enter systems, accounts, or data without authorization
  • Running bots, scrapers, crawlers, or bulk extraction tools without written permission
  • Interfering with availability, security, or another visitor’s use

  • Tenant, housing, or rental decisions
  • Credit, lending, or insurance decisions

  • Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA

Booking information is an accusation and a custody event, not proof of guilt. The legal notice and this section do not turn a third-party tool into an official record.
